Please note: Grey's Anatomy, Scandal and Once Upon a Time are currently on hiatus.

ABC claimed the week's #1 biggest broadcast gainer in TV playback among Adults 18-49 and 3 of the Top 5, with Modern Family (+2.1 rating points) - #1, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Nashville returned to originals for the first time in 5 weeks and scored its 2nd-largest playback increase ever, improving its L+SD Adult 18-49 rating by 92% to make Nashville the week's biggest percentage gainer among Adults 18-49 on the major networks. Growing to a 2.5 rating in the final L+7 numbers, Nashville returned up from its last original telecast (in the first-reported L+SD data, Nashville was within 1-tenth of rating point of its last original).

The Middle scored a season-best in TV playback among young adults (+33%), while week 2 of The Bachelor posted a larger playback increase than its week-earlier premiere (+30% vs. 22%).

The Goldbergs and Last Man Standing both matched their highest playback increases this season, growing a full rating point and 7-tenths of a rating point, respectively, over their L+SD numbers.

In the final Live + 7 Day ratings, ABC's Modern Family (5.3 rating) moved ahead of Fox's Thursday premiere of American Idol (4.8 rating) to finish among the week's Top 3 broadcast series among Adults 18-49. In addition, S.H.I.E.L.D. shot up to the week's Top 10 highest-rated broadcast series with young adults (3.7 rating), ranking #9 versus #13 in the initial Live + Same Day numbers.
