NBC Finishes #1 Tuesday in Adults 18-49, Winning Six of Six Half-Hours Among the Big 4 in 18-49
NBC spins the numbers for Tuesday, March 11.

Tuesday Results:

NBC finished #1 Tuesday in adults 18-49, winning six of six half-hours among the Big 4 in 18-49. "The Voice" ranked as the #1 show of the night in 18-49 on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox, "About a Boy" was #2 and "Chicago Fire" was tied for #3.

· On the first Tuesday of Daylight Saving Time, "The Voice 6" (3.4/12 in 18-49, 13.1 million viewers overall from 8-9:01 p.m. ET) ranked #1 for the night in 18-49 and finished #1 or tied for #1 in its time period among the Big 4 networks in every key measure.

· "The Voice" grew from its first half-hour to its second by 0.7 or a rating point or 23% in 18-49 (to a 3.8 from a 3.1) and by 2.2 million viewers overall (to 14.2 million from 12.0 million).

· "About a Boy" (2.1/6 in 18-49, 7.9 million viewers overall from 9:01-9:31 p.m. ET) ranked #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox by 0.6 of a rating point or 40% in adults 18-49 (2.1 vs. 1.5 for ABC's #2 "The Goldbergs").

· In its three weeks on the schedule, "About a Boy" has now generated NBC's three highest 18-49 ratings in the time period, excluding Olympics, since the Dec. 17 "Voice" finale.

· "Growing Up Fisher" (1.8/5 in 18-49, 6.5 million viewers overall from 9:31-10 p.m. ET) finished within a tenth of a rating point of last week's 1.9 in adults 18-49 and won the half-hour among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox by a 29% margin in 18-49 (with a 1.8 rating vs. a 1.4 for CBS's #2 "NCIS: LA" encore).

· "Growing Up Fisher" retained 86% of its lead-in from "About a Boy" (2.1/6 at 9:01), up from the prior Tuesday's 76%.

· "Chicago Fire" (2.0/6 in 18-49, 7.3 million viewers overall) won the 10 p.m. hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49, total viewers and virtually all other key measures with its highest 18-49 rating since Jan. 7 and biggest overall audience since Dec. 10. Week to week, "Chicago Fire" is up 5% in 18-49 rating (to a 2.0 from a 1.9) and up 3% in total viewers (7.303 million vs. 7.067 million). From half-hour to half-hour, "Chicago Fire" maintained its 18-49 rating despite the 10 p.m. hour and was up 4% in adults 25-54 (to a 2.6 rating from a 2.5) and up 3% in total viewers (7.4 million vs. 7.2 million).

· "Chicago Fire" has now matched or topped its prior 18-49 rating for its last four telecasts in a row.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 3.5/9; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.3/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.9/5.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "Tonight," 1.5/7; "Late Show," 0.5/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.5/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.6/6 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
