Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: Originals Put CBS in the Top Spot

Here are the highlights of the 16 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (4/20/14):

CBS (8.525 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.4, #1) was the top draw on Sunday thanks to its mainstays "60 Minutes" (8.797 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T7), "The Amazing Race 23" (7.619 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.6, #2), "The Good Wife" (9.078 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T3) and "The Mentalist" (8.605 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T3).

ABC (4.631 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #2) then took home the silver with a rebroadcast of "It's the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown / Charlie Brown All Stars" (3.546 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T10) followed by a new "Once Upon a Time" (5.692 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.7, #1) and the original movie "In My Dreams" (4.644 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.0, #9).

Next up was FOX (2.554 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.0, #3) with a new "Bob's Burgers" (1.533 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T14) alongside repeats of "American Dad" (1.516 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T14), "The Simpsons" (2.202 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T10) and "Family Guy" (2.647 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T7) plus a new "Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey" (3.713 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T3).

Meanwhile, NBC (3.700 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #4) served up its revised lineup of "American Dream Builders" (2.523 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T14), "Dateline NBC" (3.821 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T10), "Believe" (4.658 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.2, #6) and "Crisis" (3.798 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T10).

CBS (9.624 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.8, #1) took home top honors on Sunday with its usual mix of "60 Minutes" (11.621 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.9, #3), "The Amazing Race 22" (9.057 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.4, #1), "The Good Wife" (8.884 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.5, #10) and "The Mentalist" (8.935 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T7).

ABC (6.613 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.5, #2) then claimed the silver with new episodes of "America's Funniest Home Videos" (6.238 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.3, #12) and "Once Upon a Time" (7.277 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 2.1, #2) followed by the original movie "Remember Sunday" (6.469 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.4, #11).

Next up was FOX (3.202 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.4, #3) with a repeat of "Bob's Burgers" (1.623 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.6, #15) followed by a new "The Cleveland Show" (2.070 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.9, #13), a repeat "The Simpsons" (3.727 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T7), a new "Bob's Burgers" (3.744 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.7, #6), a repeat "Family Guy" (4.137 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.8, #T4) and a new "American Dad" (3.911 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.8, #T4).

And finally, a rebroadcast of "The Voice" (3.310 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.8, #14) and a new "The Celebrity Apprentice" (4.905 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T7) closed out the evening on NBC (4.107 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #4).
