Lifetime's New Docu-Series "True Tori" Captivates 1.2 Million Viewers in Series Premiere

LIFETIME'S NEW DOCU-SERIES "TRUE TORI" CAPTIVATES 1.2 MILLION VIEWERS IN SERIES PREMIERE

LOS ANGELES, CA (April 23, 2014) - Lifetime's all-new docu-series True Tori (#TrueTori) captivated 1.2 million Total Viewers during its premiere at 10:00pm last night. The intimate, raw and emotional series telling the real story of Tori Spelling's and Dean McDermott's marriage also averaged 625,000 Adults 25-54 viewers and 615,000 Adults 18-49 viewers.

Growing up as part of Hollywood royalty, Tori has always lived her life in the public eye. The world watched as she and Dean fell in love and became parents to four beautiful children. But Tori's fairytale life came crashing down in December when reports of Dean's infidelity hit the tabloids, throwing their marriage and family into crisis. With her troubled marriage and the press and gossip sites speculating about their relationship for months, now the truth is being be told as it should be -- by Tori herself.

In this unique television event, Tori has made the courageous decision to allow the audience to witness the most difficult and unpredictable period in her life. Airing just three short weeks after cameras began filming and documenting her and Dean's life in almost real-time as they navigate the unknown road ahead, beginning when Dean leaves treatment, viewers will see events almost immediately after they occur. Nobody knows how the drama will unfold - not Tori, not Dean - and only time will tell if their marriage survives.

Produced by Studio Lambert and All3Media America, six one-hour episodes of the series have been ordered by Lifetime. Tori Spelling, Dean McDermott, Robert Sizemore of Big Country Entertainment and Greg Goldman, Eli Holzman and Stephen Lambert of Studio Lambert/All3Media America serve as executive producers. Lifetime's Eli Lehrer, Mary Donahue and Paul Hardy also executive produce.
