NBC Finishes #1 or Tied for #1 Tuesday Night Among the Big 4 Networks for a Record 21st Time This Season in 18-49
NBC spins the numbers for Tuesday, April 22.

Tuesday Results:

NBC is #1 Tuesday night in adults 18-49 with the #1 and #2 shows of the night among the Big 4 networks, "The Voice" and

About a Boy." It's a record 21st time NBC has finished #1 or tied for #1 Tuesday night among the Big 4 networks this season in 18-49, adding to the NBC record for most Tuesday wins among those nets in People Meter history (dating back to September 1987).

· "The Voice" (2.7/9 in 18-49, 11.0 million viewers overall from 8-9:01 p.m. ET) ranks as the #1 show of the night in adults 18-49 and total viewers and is #1 in its time period among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, total viewers and other key measures. "The Voice" is running within 7% of last week's 2.9 in 18-49 in these preliminary fast-national ratings and within 10% of last week's 3.0 in official nationals. "The Voice" grew substantially from half-hour to half-hour in all key measures, including a gain of +12% in adults 18-49 (to a 2.8 rating from a 2.5).

· "The Voice" is winning the time period in 18-49 among the Big 4 nets by a +50% margin (2.7 vs. a 1.8 for ABC's second-place "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.").

· "About a Boy" (1.9/6 in 18-49, 7.2 million viewers overall from 9:01-9:31 p.m. ET) is currently up +6% week to week in 18-49 (to a 1.9 from a 1.8), making this the second straight week "About a Boy" has generated week-to-week growth in 18-49 and total viewers, pending updates. Versus two weeks ago, "Boy" is up +12% in 18-49 rating (1.9 vs. 1.7). In total viewers, "About a Boy" is currently up +2% versus one week ago (7.157 million vs. 6.992 million) and up +4% versus two weeks ago (7.157 million vs. 6.866 million). "About a Boy" has performed within a range of 0.4 of a rating point over its last seven telecasts in 18-49, with this track since March 11: 2.0, 2.1, 2.0, 2.0, 1.7, 1.8, 1.9.

· "About a Boy" is currently the #2 show of the night in adults 18-49 behind only "The Voice."

· "Growing Up Fisher" (1.5/4 in 18-49, 6.0 million viewers overall from 9:31-10 p.m. ET) is currently at a four-week high in total viewers (best since March 25) and is maintaining its 1.5 rating in 18-49 for a third week in a row, pending updates. "Growing Up Fisher" is #1 in the time period among the Big 4 in adults 18-49 and other key demos.

· An encore telecast of "Chicago Fire" (0.9/3 in 18-49, 4.3 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) tied ABC's original "Celebrity Wife Swap" for #2 in the slot among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49. In the time period, the "Chicago Fire" rebroadcast tied for #1 in adults 18-34 and women 18-49 and ranked #1 outright among those nets in women 18-34.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.3/6; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.5/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.7/4.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/4; "Late Show," 0.5/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/2.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.1/4 in metered-market households) tied CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
