Friday's Broadcast Ratings: ABC, "Shark Tank" Lead Demos for Fourth Consecutive Week

Here are the highlights of the 15 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (4/25/14):

ABC (5.997 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.4, #1) was once again the demo champ on Friday thanks to the season finale of "Last Man Standing" (5.853 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T3), a repeat "Last Man Standing" (4.787 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T9), a new "Shark Tank" (6.864 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.7, #1) and a new "20/20" (5.808 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.4, #2).

CBS (9.185 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.2, #2) then claimed the silver with originals from "Unforgettable" (7.572 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #12), "Hawaii Five-0" (9.172 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T6) and "Blue Bloods" (10.812 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T3).

Next up was NBC (4.686 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T3) and its mix of "Dateline NBC" (6.006 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T6), "Grimm" (5.226 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T3) and "Hannibal" (2.825 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T9).

Meanwhile, FOX (2.986 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T3) offered up fresh installments of "Kitchen Nightmares" (2.821 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T9) and a second "Kitchen Nightmares" (3.151 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T6).

And finally, a new "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (1.693 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T13), a repeat "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (1.535 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T13) and a new "Hart of Dixie" (0.925 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.3, #15) on The CW (1.269 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #5) closed out the night. In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), "Whose Line" posted a 0.3 rating at 8:00/7:00c and 0.3 rating at 8:30/7:30c while "Dixie" managed a 0.3 rating.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.0/5; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/3 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.3/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's first-run "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.1/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (4/26/13):

CBS (8.821 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #1) claimed top honors on Friday thanks to new episodes of "Undercover Boss" (8.742 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.6, #2), "Vegas" (7.360 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T6) and "Blue Bloods" (10.361 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.4, #3).

ABC (4.322 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.2, #2) then had to settle for second place with originals from "Happy Endings" (2.224 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.5, #12), another "Happy Endings" (1.794 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T10), "Shark Tank" (6.399 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.9, #1) and "20/20" (4.557 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.2, #5).

Next up was NBC (3.863 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #3) and its mix of "Fashion Star" (2.916 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.7, #9), "Grimm" (4.856 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.3, #4) and "Rock Center With Brian Williams" (3.819 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.9, #8).
