"Jimmy Kimmel Live" Wins its Time Slot in 9 of the Top 10 U.S. Markets

On Thursday, June 5, 2014, ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" ranked as Thursday's No. 1 talk show in late-night in Households (3.1/9) and Adults 18-49 (1.5/8), beating an original telecast of NBC's "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" for the first time ever in both Nielsen measures (2.6/7 and 1.0/5).

Hitting a new season high among Adults 18-49 in the 25 LPM Markets, "Kimmel" scored its highest-rated telecast on any night in late-night since moving to 11:35 p.m. in January 2013. In Households in the 56 U.S. Metered Markets, "Kimmel" earned its 2nd-highest-rated telecast this season, behind only "Jimmy Kimmel Live: Behind the Scandalabra" (on 4/17/14).

· "Kimmel" ranked No. 1 in its time slot in HH in 9 of the Top 10 U.S. Markets, including each of the Top 5: New York, Los Angeles (tie), Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas, Boston (tie), DC, Atlanta, Houston.

· In Jimmy Fallon's home market of New York, "Jimmy Kimmel Live" beat NBC's "Fallon" by 14% in Households (4.0/11 vs. 3.5/8) and by 12% in Adults 18-49 (1.9/9 vs. 1.7/8). In fact, among HH, "Kimmel" has finished No. 1 in its slot in New York on 3 of the 4 days of the week so far (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday).
