"The Night Shift" Retains 100% of Last Week's Rating in Adults 18-49 Despite Competition from the NBA Finals
NBC spins the numbers for Tuesday, June 10.

Tuesday Results:

· Against NBA competition, "America's Got Talent" (2.6/8 in 18-49, 11.5 million viewers overall from 8-10:01 p.m. ET) is up week to week in total viewers (11.452 million vs. 11.301 million), while retaining 93% of last week's prelim fast-national rating in adults 18-49 (2.6 vs. 2.8) and 90% of last week's 2.9 in official nationals.

· Excluding ABC's night of NBA-themed programming, "America's Got Talent" is the #1 telecast of the night on the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key measures.

· From its first half-hour to its fourth, "Talent" grew by +43% in 18-49 rating (to a 3.0 from a 2.1) and by +23% or 2.4 million persons in total viewers (12.6 million vs. 10.2 million).

· Despite competition from the NBA Finals, "The Night Shift" (1.5/5 in 18-49, 6.9 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) retained 100% of last week's rating in adults 18-49 (1.5 vs. 1.5) and is currently up in total viewers (6.929 million vs. 6.871 million), pending updates. Note that "The Night Shift" is also retaining 94% of its premiere rating of two weeks ago in 18-49 (1.5 vs. 1.6 on May 27).

· Excluding ABC's night of NBA-themed programming, "The Night Shift" is the #2 telecast of the night on the Big 4 networks in 18-49, behind only "America's Got Talent."

· NBC is #2 among the Big 4 networks behind NBA-boosted ABC in all key measures.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 3.0/7,; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 1.9/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.4/8, delayed by an NBA overrun.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.3/6,; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.1/6, delayed by an NBA overrun.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline," delayed by an NBA overrun, averaged a 1.7/7 in metered-market households and a 0.8/6 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.3/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (0.9/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly," averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
