CMT's Highest-Rated Series "Party Down South" Earns Its Highest-Rated Episode Ever, Up Double Digits

Live +3 Ratings Mark Strongest Original Series Telecast in Network History

LOS ANGELES - July, 24 2014 - The most mind-blowing party continues as last Thursday's episode of CMT's PARTY DOWN SOUTH made network history with 1,156,000 total viewers and a 1.03 rating (Live +3). Among Adults 18-49, the series grew +27% over the season one average and +12% in total viewers. The series is also performing well among a coveted, younger audience garnering a .8 among W25-34 (Live +3).

PARTY DOWN SOUTH continues to rank as the No.1 digital series for the network, counting total streams across CMT.com, CMT Mobile and the CMT App. During the EST/CST hours of the Thursday premiere, hourly streams and app installs increased triple digits, up +130% and up +957%.

Tune-in tonight at 10:00 p.m., ET/PT when "Hurricane Martha" hits Athens. With the return of Martha in full effect, Mattie's partying ways start to rub her roommates the wrong way.
