Live + 3: ABC's black-ish is Wednesday's #1 Freshman Gainer in AD18-49

ABC's Live + 3 Day Data for Wednesday (10/1/14):

The 2nd episode of ABC's black-ish gained +1.0 rating points after 3 days of playback among Adults 18-49, making the ABC sitcom the night's #1 freshman gainer. black-ish grew to a 3.6 rating (from a 2.6 in L+SD) and 10.5 million Total Viewers (up +2.2 million from 8.3 million in L+SD).

For the 2nd week in a row, all three of ABC's returning sitcoms saw bigger L+3 lifts than their year-ago telecasts among Adults 18-49: The Middle (+20% vs. +17%), The Goldbergs (+35% vs. +32%), Modern Family (+43% vs. +36%).

Wednesday's #1 TV show for the 2nd straight week among Adults 18-49, ABC's Modern Family soared to a 5.3 rating in the L+3 numbers, distancing itself from runner-up CBS' Criminal Minds (4.0 rating) by 1.3 rating points (versus a +1.0 rating point lead-in in L+SD).

With the addition of L+3 playback, ABC's Nashville went up to 7.4 million viewers (+40% - up +2.1 million from 5.3 million in L+SD) and a 2.2 rating in Adults 18-49 (+38% - up +0.6 from a 1.6 in L+SD).
