"Dateline NBC" Hits Three-Week Highs in 18-49 and Total Viewers, With Its Top Results Since September 26
NBC spins the numbers for Friday, October 17.

Friday Primetime Results:

· "Dateline NBC" (1.2/4 in 18-49 and 5.7 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) hit three-week highs in 18-49 and total viewers, with its top results since Sept. 26 during premiere week. Week to week, "Dateline" grew by +9% in 18-49 rating (to a 1.2 from a 1.1) and +11% in total viewers (5.721 million vs. 5.160 million).

· "Dateline NBC" ranked #1 for its second hour from 10-11 p.m. among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49, with a 1.4 rating. "Dateline" was also #1 or tied for #1 among those networks from 10-11 in men and women 18-49 and adults, men and women 18-34.

· Head to head from 10-11 p.m., "Dateline" outrated ABC's "20/20" in every key measure - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers.

· An encore telecast of "Marry Me" delivered a 0.7/3 in 18-49 and 3.0 million viewers overall from 8-8:30 p.m. ET and a rebroadcast of "About a Boy" averaged a 0.6/2 in 18-49 and 2.7 million viewers overall from 8:30-9 p.m. ET. "About a Boy" retained 86% of its lead-in from "Marry Me" in adults 18-49 and 100% in adults 25-54 (0.9 vs. 0.9), while posting gains of lead-in in adults and women 18-34 and women 18-49.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday Night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 3.2/8; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.1/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.0/5 with an encore.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.1/5; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.4/5 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

"Live Plus Three Day" Results for Monday, Oct. 13:

In "live plus three day" Nielsens, "The Blacklist":

· Grew by +53% in 18-49 (to a 4.23 rating from a 2.77) and 4.979 million viewers overall (to 14.737 million from 9.758 million) going from L+SD to L+3).

· Was the #1 drama of the night in:

· L+SD adults 18-49 (2.77).

· L+3 adults 18-49 (4.23).

· Lift from L+SD to L+3 in 18-49 rating point (+1.46).

· Lift from L+SD to L+3 in 18-49 percentage (+53%).

· L+3 total viewers (14.737 million).

· Lift from L+SD to L+3 in total viewers (+4.979 million).

· Lift from L+SD to L+3 in total-viewer percentage (+51%).

"The Voice" (4.49 rating in adults 18-49, 14.385 million viewers overall):

· Grew by +21% in 18-49 (to a 4.88 from a 4.02) and 2.144 million viewers overall (to 15.419 million from 13.275 million) going from L+SD to L+3.
