Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC, "Sunday Night Football" Triumph Over FOX, World Series

Here are the highlights of the 15 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (10/26/14):

NBC (15.014 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 5.5, #1) was still the network to beat on Sunday with its mix of "Football Night in America #1" (5.002 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T11), "Football Night in America #2" (6.314 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 2.0, #9), "Football Night in America #3" (12.762 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 4.6, #3) and "Sunday Night Football" (17.204 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 6.4, #1).

FOX (10.989 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 3.0, #2) then had to settle for second place despite its combination of "NFL Overrun" (11.739 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 3.5, #5), "The OT" (12.121 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 3.7, #4) and "World Series, Game 5" (10.519 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 2.8, #6).

Next up was CBS (13.770 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.8, #3) with a full hour of "NFL Overrun" (20.470 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 5.8, #2) followed by new episodes of "60 Minutes" (13.457 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.4, #7), "Madam Secretary" (11.592 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.5, #10) and "The Good Wife" (9.563 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T11).

And finally, a rebroadcast of "Star Wars Rebels" (2.543 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.6, #15) led into originals from "Once Upon a Time" (6.609 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 2.3, #8), "Resurrection" (4.389 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 1.2, #13) and "Revenge" (4.336 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 1.1, #14) on ABC (4.469 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.3, #4).

NBC (12.310 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 4.5, #2) then had to settle for second place with its usual combination of "Football Night in America #1" (5.115 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 1.6, #9), "Football Night in America #2" (6.955 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 2.5, #6), "Football Night in America #3" (11.881 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 4.3, #5) and "Sunday Night Football" (14.905 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 5.6, #3).

Next up was CBS (9.110 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T3) with new episodes of "60 Minutes" (10.314 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T10), "The Amazing Race 23" (8.231 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.7, #8), "The Good Wife" (9.090 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T12) and "The Mentalist" (8.806 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.3, #14).
