"THE TONIGHT SHOW" DEFEATS LETTERMAN, KIMMEL IN ALL KEY RATINGS CATEGORIES FOR WEEK OF OCT. 20-24

Meyers Also Conquers Ferguson, 'Nightline' in Timeslot Competition

NEW YORK - Oct. 30, 2014 - An encore week of "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" has won the late-night ratings week of Oct. 20-24 versus rebroadcasts of CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman" and a week of four originals and one encore for ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

At 12:35 a.m. ET, a rebroadcast week of "Late Night with Seth Meyers" ranked #1 versus originals of CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" and head-to-head from 12:30-1 a.m. versus ABC's "Nightline" originals.

Fallon's 0.89 rating for the encore week represents a +37% advantage over ABC's mostly original "Jimmy Kimmel Live" (0.65) and a +51% margin over CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman" rebroadcasts (0.59). The Fallon encores topped Letterman and Kimmel for the week in every key ratings category - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers.

At 12:35 a.m. ET, Meyers encores outdelivered Ferguson originals by a margin of +29% in adults 18-49, with a 0.45 rating versus Ferguson's 0.35. Meyers also prevailed versus ABC's "Nightline" in their head-to-head half-hour in every key ratings measure - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers.

Note that CBS's Thursday shows were delayed by an NFL overrun and are excluded. Friday's "Kimmel" was an encore.
