Paw Patrol is Number-One Series with Kids 2-5

NEW YORK - Nov. 18, 2014 - Nickelodeon marks five straight weeks at the top of basic cable in total day, winning the week (11/10/14-11/16/14) with Kids 2-11 (2.3/704K) and total viewers (1.4M). Nick's performance was fueled by its live-action lineup, which were TV's top three series with kids 6-11 and kids 2-11 this week.

For the third straight week, Nickelodeon nabbed the top spots with kids 6-11, with The Thundermans landing at number-one (6.4/1.2M, up +42% over year ago), followed by Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn (6.1/1.1M, up +53%) and Henry Danger (5.8/1.1M, +5%). Among kids 2-11, the top three shows were Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn (5.1/1.6M, up +13%), The Thundermans (5.1/1.6M, +2%) and Henry Danger (4.6/1.4M, +7%).

Additionally, Paw Patrol is the week's number-one preschool series, averaging a 6.2/736K with kids 2-5.

Nickelodeon's niche networks, TeenNick and Nicktoons, posted double-digit year-over-year increases with their core demos. TeenNick averaged a 0.4/69K with Teens 12-17, up +33% from last year, while Nicktoons notched increases with Kids 6-11 (0.6/84K, +50%), Boys 6-11 (0.9/58K, +80%) and P2+ (248K, +59%).

Nickelodeon, now in its 35th year, is the number-one entertainment brand for kids. It has built a diverse, global business by putting kids first in everything it does. The company includes television programming and production in the United States and around the world, plus consumer products, online, recreation, books and feature films.
