CBS SWEEPS TUESDAY IN VIEWERS AND KEY DEMOS WITH ITS LARGEST TUESDAY AUDIENCE OF THE SEASON

"NCIS" Delivers Its Largest Audience in Nearly a Year and Best Adults 18-49 Rating Since Its Season Premiere; Top Program of the Night in Viewers and Demos

"NCIS: New Orleans" Matches Series High in Adults 18-49 and Largest Audience Since Premiere

"Person of Interest" Delivers Its Largest Audience Since Week Two

CBS swept Tuesday in viewers and key demos with its largest Tuesday audience of the season as NCIS, NCIS: NEW ORLEANS and PERSON OF INTEREST all began the New Year with significant increases, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Jan. 6.

At 8:00 PM, was first in viewers (19.49m), adults 25-54 (4.1/11) and adults 18-49 (2.8/09). NCIS posted its largest audience since Feb. 4, 2014 and its best deliveries in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 since Sept. 23.

At 9:00 PM, NCIS: NEW ORLEANS was first in viewers (17.36m), adults 25-54 (3.6/09) and adults 18-49 (2.5/07). NCIS: NEW ORLEANS posted its largest audience since its Sept. 23 series premiere (just -0.02m behind) and matched its best adults 18-49 rating.

At 10:00 PM, PERSON OF INTEREST was first in viewers (9.97m), adults 25-54 (2.6/07) and tied for first in adults 18-49 (1.7/05, with NBC). PERSON OF INTEREST posted its largest audience since Sept. 30 and matched its second best delivery in adults 18-49 this season.

For the night, CBS was first in viewers (15.61m), adults 25-54 (3.4/09) and adults 18-49 (2.3/07). This was CBS's largest Tuesday audience of the season.
