Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: CBS, NFL Trump NBC, Golden Globes

Here are the highlights of the 17 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (1/11/15):

CBS (18.498 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 4.5, #1) was the network to beat on Sunday with a full hour of "NFL Overrun" (36.568 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 11.4, #1) followed by "60 Minutes" (17.355 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 3.6, #3), "Madam Secretary" (11.590 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.7, #7) and "The Good Wife" (8.479 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T10).

NBC (14.462 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 4.3, #2) then was a close second with its coverage of the "Golden Globes Red Carpet" (9.527 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 2.2, #4) and "The 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards" (16.107 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 5.0, #2).

Next up was FOX (3.057 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.4, #3) and its mix of "Mulaney" (1.310 million viewers, #17; adults 18-49: 0.5, #17), a repeat "The Simpsons" (1.944 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T14) and new episodes of "The Simpsons" (4.385 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 2.0, #T5), "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (3.303 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 1.5, #9), "Family Guy" (4.092 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 2.0, #T5) and "Bob's Burgers" (3.308 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 1.6, #8).

And finally, originals from "America's Funniest Home Videos" (5.984 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.1, #13), "Galavant" (4.358 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T10), another "Galavant" (3.836 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.2, #12), "Resurrection" (3.073 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T14) and "Revenge" (3.648 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T14) on ABC (4.201 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #4) closed out the evening.
