"THE TONIGHT SHOW" AND "LATE NIGHT" WIN THE RATINGS WEEK OF DEC. 29-JAN. 2

Fallon and Meyers Claims Victories in All Key Measures

NEW YORK - Jan. 12, 2015 - "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" has delivered decisive wins for the disrupted holiday week of Dec. 29-Jan. 2, nearly matching the combined ratings of ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman" in adults 18-49

Fallon's 1.00 rating in 18-49 for the week came within one-hundredth of a point of the combined 1.01 of Kimmel (0.52) and Letterman (0.49). Note that all Thursday and Friday late-night programming on ABC, CBS and NBC, plus Wednesday's CBS and ABC shows, were excluded or preempted due to the New Year's holiday. Fallon also outdelivered Kimmel and Letterman individually for the week in every key ratings category - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers.

At 12:35 a.m. ET, encore telecasts of "Late Night with Seth Meyers" averaged a 0.48 in 18-49 to finish within one-hundredth of a point of Letterman's 0.49 and within four-hundredths of Kimmel's 0.52, despite airing an hour later than both shows. Meyers outrated both Letterman and Kimmel for the week in adults 18-34, with a 0.37 rating in 18-34 to Kimmel's 0.35 and Letterman's 0.24.

Head to head in the 12:35 a.m. ET hour, Meyers outscored CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" in every key ratings measure.
