"The Blacklist" Builds by 60% on Its 18-49 Lead-In Versus Round Three of the NCAA Basketball Tournament

"THE BLACKLIST" BUILDS BY +60% ON ITS 18-49 LEAD-IN VERSUS ROUND THREE OF THE NCAA BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT

"BLACKLIST" -- WHICH LAST WEEK DELIVERED THE NIGHT'S BIGGEST L+3 VIEWERSHIP GAINS - IS EVEN WEEK TO WEEK IN ADULTS 18-34 AND UP IN MEN 18-34

"DATELINE" DELIVERS NBC'S SECOND-HIGHEST 18-49 RATING IN THE SLOT SINCE FEB. 12, SECOND-BIGGEST OVERALL AUDIENCE IN THE HOUR SINCE DEC. 4

Thursday Primetime Results:

· "The Blacklist" (1.6/5 in 18-49, 8.0 million viewers overall from 9-10:01 p.m. ET) grew +60% versus its lead-in in adults 18-49 (1.6 vs. 1.0) and was up +27% in total viewers (8.0 million vs. 6.3 million), versus competition last night that included CBS and TBS coverage of the third round of the NCAA basketball tournament. Note that "The Blacklist" has improved the slot by +175% vs. NBC's earlier non-sports average this season prior to "The Blacklist" in L+3 18-49 averages heading into last night (see details at below).

· "The Blacklist" ranked #2 and was the top non-sports choice in the time period on the Big 4 networks in men 18-49 and men 25-54.

· "The Blacklist" maintained 100% of the prior week's rating in adults 18-34 (0.8 vs. 0.8) and was up +17% or 0.1 of a point in men 18-34 (0.7 vs. 0.6).

· "The Blacklist" will grow substantially in L+3: Last week's "Blacklist" delivered the biggest L+3 gains of the night among Big 4 shows, by +75% in 18-49 rating (1.82 to 3.19) and in total viewers by 4.5 million persons (8.6 million to 13.1 million).

· "The Slap" (0.7/2 in 18-49, 3.4 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) maintained its 0.7 rating in adults 18-49 week to week and is currently up week to week by +11% in adults 25-54 (1.0 vs. 0.9) and by +8% in total viewers, pending updates. "The Slap" is currently matching or topping last week's results in every key measure, pending updates.

· "The Slap" will increase significantly in L+3 -- the previous week's "Slap" grew by +51% in 18-49 rating (065 to 0.98) and in total viewers by 1.1 million persons (3.2 million to 4.3 million).

· Upscale: "The Slap" has been a solid upscale attraction, delivering a 116 index of adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes ("most current" including L+3, with 100 representing an average concentration of those homes).

· "Dateline NBC" (1.0/4 in 18-49, 6.3 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) reported the network's second-highest 18-49 rating in the time period in six weeks (since Feb. 12, 1.1 for the debut of "The Slap," trailing over that span only last week's 1.2) and NBC's second-biggest overall audience in the hour in 16 weeks (since Dec. 4, 11.2 million for "Peter Pan Live!," trailing over that span only last week's 6.5 million).

· L+3: The previous week's "Dateline" increased in L+3 vs. L+SD by +12% in 18-49 rating (1.23 to 1.38) and in total viewers by 556,000 persons (6.5 million to 7.0 million).

· Note that "The Blacklist" has lifted NBC's Thursday. In L+3 averages heading into this week:

· "Blacklist" has improved the Thursday 9 p.m. hour by +175% in 18-49 (3.3 vs. an average 1.2, L+3 excluding sports prior to the "Blacklist" Thursday debut) and by 8.7 million viewers overall (12.9 million vs. 4.2 million).

· NBC's Thursday overall has improved by +19% since the "Blacklist" move in 18-49 (1.9 vs. 1.6, L+3 non-sports) and more than 2.6 million viewers overall (7.8 million v. 5.2 million).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/5; "Late Show," 0.3/2 with an encore delayed by basketball; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.5/5 in metered-market households and a 0.5/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.1/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with James Corden " (0.8/4 with an encore delayed by basketball). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show with James Corden" (0.3/2 with an encore delayed by basketball).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
