HALLMARK MOVIES & MYSTERIES' LATEST WORLD PREMIERE, "GARAGE SALE MYSTYERY: THE DEADLY ROOM," AVERAGES MORE THAN 1 MILLION VIEWERS TO BECOME MOST-WATCHED ORIGINAL MOVIE DEBUT IN NETWORK HISTORY

Second Installment in Garage Sale Mystery Wheel Franchise Garners a 1.4 HH Rating, Elevating Network to be #2 on Cable in the Saturday, 9-11pm Time Period

Hallmark Movies & Mysteries scored big on Saturday night with the April 11th, premiere of its latest original movie, Garage Sale Mystery: The Deadly Room, reaching nearly 1.4 million unduplicated viewers, averaging more 1 million total viewers, and marking the network's most-watched original debut of all time. In addition, the film made Hallmark Movies & Mysteries the #2 cable network among household rating (1.4) and total viewer rating (.7) in its 9-11pm time period.

"Hallmark Movies & Mysteries continues to make its mark as one of the fastest growing and most unique propositions on cable," said Michelle Vicary, executive vice president, programming & network publicity, Crown Media Family Networks. "There is clearly an appetite for the network's family-friendly take on the suspense and mystery genres and, as we continue to expand its slate of original content, we are confident that more and more viewers will find the channel and further drive ratings and delivery."

Garage Sale Mystery: The Deadly Room stars Lori Loughlin as Jennifer Shannon, a garage sale enthusiast with an eye for finding rare treasures she can resell at the consignment store she owns with business partner, Danielle (Sarah Strange). When her friend dies trying to disprove rumors that a multi-million dollar home she is trying to sell has a deadly curse, Jennifer puts her intuitive skills to the test. Though a police investigation led by Detective Lynwood (Kevin O'Grady) finds no evidence of foul play - even on the webcam footage from the night of the death - Jennifer has an ominous feeling that her friend has been murdered. In the process of researching the history of deaths that all occurred in the room where her friend died, she uncovers clues that bring her closer to the truth and ultimately putts her own life at risk.

Garage Sale Mystery: The Deadly Room is a Bargain Street Productions III Ltd. Production. Jonathan Axelrod, Harvey Kahn, Alan Ett and Peter DeLuise are the executive producers. Peter DeLuise directs from a script by Walter Klenhard based on the novel Garage Sale Stalker by Suzi Weinert.
