"The Blacklist" Builds on Last Night's 18-49 Lead-In by 180% with Its First Original Telecast Since April 2

"THE BLACKLIST" BUILDS ON LAST NIGHT'S 18-49 LEAD-IN BY +180% WITH ITS FIRST ORIGINAL TELECAST SINCE APRIL 2

"BLACKLIST" -- WHICH GENERATED THE NIGHT'S BIGGEST L+3 VIEWERSHIP GAINS WITH ITS MOST RECENT ORIGINAL - GROWS +110% OR 3.8 MILLION PERSONS VS. LEAD-IN IN TOTAL VIEWERS

"DATELINE" SCORES A FIVE-MONTH HIGH FOR NBC IN THE THURSDAY 10-11 P.M. HOUR IN TOTAL VIEWERS

Thursday Primetime Results:

· "The Blacklist" (1.4/5 in 18-49, 7.2 million viewers overall from 9-10:01 p.m. ET) built on its lead-in by +180% in 18-49 (1.4 vs. 0.5) and +110% or 3.8 million persons in total viewers (7.2 million vs. 3.4 million).

· With its first original telecast in three weeks, "The Blacklist" is down 0.2 in adults 18-49 versus its prior original but is matching that April 2 episode in adults 18-34 (0.7) and is up +13% in women 18-34 (0.9 vs. 0.8).

· Last night's "Blacklist" grew from half-hour to half-hour in most key measures, including gains of +7% in adults 18-49 (1.4 to 1.5), +10% in adults 25-54 (2.0 to 2.2), +13% in men 25-54 (1.6 to 1.8) and +9% in women 25-54 (2.3 to 2.5).

· Time-Shifting: "The Blacklist" will increase substantially in L+3 -- the most recent "Blacklist" original grew by +84% in L+3 vs. L+SD in 18-49 rating (1.59 to 2.93) and increased in total viewers by 4.5 million persons (7.7 million to 12.2 million). Those were the biggest increases of the night on the Big 4.

· Upscale: "The Blacklist" has been a strong upscale performer, delivering a 141 index of adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes ("most current" including L+3, with 100 representing an average concentration of those homes).

· "Dateline NBC" (0.9/3 in 18-49, 5.8 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) hit a five-month high for NBC in the time period in total viewers, the network's biggest audience in the slot since "Peter Pan Live!" averaged a 7.3 million viewers in the hour on Dec. 4, 2014. "Dateline" is up +5% week to week in total viewers (5.770 million vs. 5.521 million).

· In the time period, "Dateline" tied for #2 among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and was #2 outright among those nets in adults, men and women 25-54 and total viewers.

· An encore telecast of "The Blacklist" averaged a 0.5/2 in 18-49 and 3.4 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET.

· Note that "The Blacklist" has lifted NBC's Thursday. In "most current" averages heading into this week:

· "Blacklist" has improved the Thursday 9 p.m. hour by +167% in 18-49 (3.17 for weeks of "Blacklist" originals vs. a prior average of 1.19, "most current" excluding sports) and by more than 8.5 million viewers overall (12.7 million vs. 4.2 million).

· NBC's Thursday overall has improved by +17% since the "Blacklist" move in 18-49 (1.84 for weeks of "Blacklist" originals vs. 1.57, "most current" non-sports) and more than 2.6 million viewers overall (5.2 million vs. 7.8 million).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Thursday Night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.7/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.2/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.1/5.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.1/5; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.4/5 in metered-market households and a 0.5/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.4/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with James Corden" (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
