"Chicago Fire" Wins the 10 P.M. Hour Among by a 45% Margin In 18-49

NBC MOVES INTO A TIE FOR THE NIGTHLONG WIN IN 18-49, AS 'CHICAGO FIRE' MAINTAINS 100% OF LAST WEEK'S RATING FOR A CROSSOVER EPISODE

'CHICAGO FIRE' WINS THE 10 P.M. HOUR AMONG THE ABC-CBS-NBC DRAMAS BY A +45% MARGIN IN 18-49

AN HOURLONG LIVE 'UNDATEABLE' GROWS BY +18% VS. NBC'S SEASON AVERAGE IN THE SLOT EXCLUDING 'THE VOICE'

Tuesday Results:

NBC moved into a tie for the nightlong win in 18-49 as "Chicago Fire" won decisively at 10 among the ABC-CBS-NBC dramas. "Chicago Fire" maintained 100% of last week's rating from a crossover episode.

· "Chicago Fire" (1.6/5 in 18-49, 6.7 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) maintained 100% of last week's rating from a crossover episode that tied in with Wednesday's "Chicago P.D." and "Law & Order: SVU." "Chicago Fire" originals have now won the time period seven consecutive times among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49.

· Last night's "Chicago Fire" dominated the time period among the ABC-CBS-NBC dramas in adults 18-49, winning among those nets by a +45% margin (1.6 vs. 1.1 each for "Person of Interest" and "Forever"). "Chicago Fire" also won among those networks in adults, men and women 18-34; men and women 18-49; and adults and women 25-54.

· "Chicago Fire" equaled its highest 18-49 rating on a night with no "Voice" lead-in since Jan. 7 (1.7/5), a span covering eight original "Chicago Fire" telecasts.

· "Chicago Fire" will grow substantially via time-shifted viewing -- "Chicago Fire" first-runs have increased by +60% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.87 to a 3.00) and 3.5 million viewers overall (7.6 million to 11.1 million) going from L+SD to L+7.

· A special hourlong live telecast of "Undateable" (1.3/4 in 18-49, 4.3 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. ET) is up +8% versus last week's half-hour episode in 18-49 (1.3 vs. 1.2 from 9-9:30).

· "Undateable" improved by +18% on NBC's slot average this season in 18-49, excluding "The Voice" (1.3 vs. 1.1 Tuesdays from 9-10 excluding night "The Voice" ran in the hour) and grew +10% versus that average in total viewers (4.281 million vs. 3.907 million).

· "Undateable" ranked #2 or tied for #2 in the hour among the Big 4 in adults 25-54, women 18-49 and women 25-54 and tied for #1 among those nets in women 18-34.

· "Undateable" will grow via time-shifted viewing -- "Undateable" is increasing by +19% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.59 to a 1.89 and 616,000 viewers overall (5.4 million to 6.2 million) going from L+SD to L+7.

· "The Voice" (1.9/7 in 18-49, 8.8 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) ranked #1 in the time period in all key adult-female demos. "The Voice" is running within 0.2 of a point of last week's 2.1 in 18-49 in these prelim fast-affil ratings and within 0.3 of last week's 2.2 in official nationals.

· Facing unscripted competition in the hour from ABC's "Dancing With the Stars," grew from half-hour to half-hour in all key measures including gains of +18% in women 18-49 (2.2 to 2.6), +21% in women 18-34 (1.4 to 1.7) and +13% in women 25-54 (3.2 to 3.6).

· "The Voice" will increase significantly via time-shifted viewing -- originals of Tuesday's "Voice" have grown by +25% in 18-49 rating this season (from a 3.31 to a 4.13) and 2.1 million viewers overall (12.5 million to 14.6 million) going from L+SD to L+7.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday Night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.7/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.8/7; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.7/4.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.0/5; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households) trailed CBS's "Late Late Show with James Corden" (1.3/5). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
