"Dateline NBC" Ties as Friday's #1 Show on the Big 4 in Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54

'DATELINE NBC' TIES AS FRIDAY'S #1 SHOW ON THE BIG 4 IN ADULTS 18-49 AND ADULTS 25-54

'DATELINE' EQUALS A FOUR-WEEK FRIDAY HIGH IN 18-49, GROWS +43% WEEK TO WEEK

Friday Primetime Results:

· A "Dateline NBC" rebroadcast (1.0/4 in 18-49, 4.4 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) tied as the #1 show of the night on the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49, as well as adults 25-54 (1.3), equaling ABC's 9 p.m. "Shark Tank" encore as top-rated show in both measures. "Dateline NBC" also won its 10-11 p.m. time period among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and 25-54 and was #1 or tied for #1 among those networks in the slot in every other key demo.

· "Dateline NBC" grew by +43% versus last week in adult 18-49 rating (1.0 vs. 0.7) and by +18% in adults 25-54 (1.3 vs. 1.1). "Dateline" matched its top Friday rating in 18-49 since Aug. 7 (1.2).

· Despite the 10 p.m. hour, "Dateline" grew from its first half-hour to its second by +22% in adults 18-49 rating (0.9 to 1.1), by +17% in adults 25-54 (1.2 to 1.4) and by +21% in women 25-54 (1.4 to 1.7).

· An encore telecast of "America's Got Talent" (0.7/3 in 18-49, 3.4 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET) ranked #2 in the time period among the Big 4 networks in adults, men and women 18-49 and adults, men and women 25-54. Week to week, the Friday "Talent" encore is up +17% or 0.1 of a point in 18-49 (0.7 vs. 0.6) and up +8% in total viewers (3.4 million vs. 3.1 million).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday Night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 3.0/8; "CBS Summer Showcase," 1.7/4 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.8/5 with an encore.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/4; "CBS Summer Showcase," 0.3/1 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/2 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with James Corden" (1.0/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1 with an encore).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
