Investigation Discovery Experiences Double Digit Growth in Prime Among P2+, Clinching Best August Ever

INVESTIGATION DISCOVERY EXPERIENCES DOUBLE DIGIT GROWTH IN PRIME AMONG P2+, CLINCHING BEST AUGUST EVER

-- ID Continues Reign as #3 Network on Television for Women in Total Day --

(Silver Spring, Md.) - Investigation Discovery (ID) clinched its best August ever for L+3 in Prime delivery among P2+, HH, P25-54, W25-54, M25-54, P18-49 and W18-49 , completing six consecutive months of year-over-year Prime delivery growth among P2+, HH, W25-54 and W18-49, and double digit growth among P2+, HH, P25-54, P18-49 and W18-49 (see chart below).*

In August, ID continued its reign as the #3 ad-supported cable network on television for W25-54 and the #6 ad-supported cable network for P25-54 in Total Day,** also experiencing the best August ever in Total Day delivery among P2+, HH, P25-54, and W18-49, with year over year double digit delivery growth among P2+, W25-54, P18-49 and W18-49.

Notably, the season five premiere of Homicide Hunter: Lt. Joe Kenda on Tuesday, August 18 at 10/9c broke ID's record for best Prime telecast ever for delivery among P2+ (1.86 million) and HH (1.562 million) for L+3. The premiere ranked #4 for delivery among HH in its time period in all ad-supported cable, and ranked #5 for delivery among P2+ and W25-54 delivery in its time period in all ad-supported cable. Overall, the Homicide Hunter premiere helped bolster ID to have its best Prime night ever for delivery among P2+ (1.495 million) and HH (1.218 million).

Other series in the top five for August included On the Case with Paula Zahn (averaging 1.4M P2+); Deadline: Crime with Tamron Hall (1.2M P2+); Killer Instinct with Chris Hansen (1.1M P2+) and Swamp Murders (1.1M P2+).

In August, ID held onto the #1 spot in Total Day (48 min. P25-54, 51 min. W25-54) for Length of Tune in all of television, while securing the was #1spot in Prime (28 min. P25-54, 30 min. W25-54) for Length of Tune in all of ad-supported cable.
