VH1 Draws 2.3 Million Total Viewers Into The "VH1 Big In 2015 With Entertainment Weekly" Special

Telecast Ranks As The #1 Non-Sports Cable Program In Its Premiere Time Period Among Women 18-34 and Women 18-49

VH1 Delivers Highest Rated Tentpole Since 2010

NEW YORK, December 8, 2015 - VH1 delivered its highest rated tentpole since 2010 last night with the premiere of the "VH1 Big in 2015 With Entertainment Weekly" special. The event ranked as the #1 non-sports cable program in its 9:00-10:00 PM time period with women 18-49 and women 18-34.

The special averaged a 1.1 LSD rating in the adult 18-49 demo and attracted 1.7 million total viewers. When combined with its 11 PM encore, 2.3 million total viewers tuned in to the special that night.

"VH1 Big In 2015 With Entertainment Weekly" also dominated on social media platforms.

The hashtag #BigIn2015 was a trending topic throughout Monday evening, and the show ranked in the top 5 in Nielsen's Twitter TV Ratings.

The special encores tonight, December 8 on VH1 at 7 PM* and again on Saturday, December 12 at 8 PM.*

Hollywood's biggest celebrities honored the top entertainers of the year in the "VH1 Big In 2015 with Entertainment Weekly" celebration on Monday, December 7. VH1 and Entertainment Weekly, the brands that help define pop culture, teamed up for pop culture's biggest party of the year.

The evening featured previously announced honorees Amy Schumer and Taraji P. Henson, Elizabeth Banks, Aziz Ansari, Nicki Minaj, and the breakout cast from the most successful music biopic of all time "Straight Outta Compton" -- O'Shea Jackson, Jr., Corey Hawkins and Jason Mitchell.

T.I. kept the party going as the host of the evening's honors. Celebrity presenters included Queen Latifah who praised Nicki Minaj, and Ice Cube who presented the "Big In 2015" honor to his son O'Shea Jackson, Jr., who accepted the accolade on behalf of the "Straight Outta Compton" cast. The multitalented Debbie Allen toasted "Empire" star Taraji P. Henson. Amber Rose honored her gal pal Amy Schumer. Aubrey Plaza saluted Aziz Ansari, her "Parks and Recreation" co-star. Miss Piggy also hit the party to present Elizabeth Banks her "Big In 2015" honor. Elle King wrapped up the "VH1 Big In 2015 With Entertainment Weekly" party with a raucous performance of her hit single "Ex's & Oh's."
