Friday Primetime Results:
"Undateable" (0.7/3 in 18-49, 2.7 million viewers overall from 8-8:30 p.m. ET):
· With a live telecast, finishes within 0.1 of the prior week's rating in adults 18-49 (0.7 vs. 0.8) and maintained 100% week to week in men 18-34, women 18-34, women 18-49 and adults 25-54.
· Grows week to week by +18% in women 25-54 (1.3 vs. 1.1).
· Will add significant viewership via time-shifting - the previous week's "Undateable" grew by +31% in 18-49 rating (from a 0.78 to a 1.02) and by 431,000 viewers overall (2.9 million to 3.3 million) going from L+SD to L+3. It's the show's top L+3 rating in 18-49 since Oct. 16 and biggest L+3 lift since March 31.
"Truth Be Told" (0.6/2 in 18-49, 2.1 million viewers overall from 8:30-9 p.m. ET):
· Retains 100% of the 0.6 rating for its prior four telecasts in adults 18-49 and is up week to week in adults 18-34 and women 25-54.
· Builds on its lead-in in adults 18-34 and men 18-34.
· Will add significant viewership via time-shifting - the previous week's "Truth Be Told" increased by +17% in 18-49 rating (from a 0.64 to a 0.75) and 251,000 viewers overall (2.3 million to 2.5 million) going from L+SD to L+3.
"Grimm" (0.9/3 in 18-49, 3.6 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. ET):
· Grows +13% week to week in 18-49 (0.9 vs. 0.8).
· Equals its highest 18-49 rating since Nov. 6 (1.0).
· Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting - the prior week's "Grimm" grew by +85% in 18-49 rating (from a 0.80 to a 1.48) and 2.0 million viewers overall (3.7 million to 5.7 million) going from L+SD to L+3.
· Upscale: "Grimm" is capturing a strong upscale audience this season, indexing at a 121 among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes ("most current" including L+3).
"Dateline NBC" (0.9/3 in 18-49, 4.1 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET):
· Ties for #2 in the hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 and ties for #1 among those nets in women 18-49.
· Despite the 10 p.m. hour, grows by +8% half-hour to half-hour in adults 25-54 (1.3 to 1.4), +11% in men 25-54 (0.9 to 1.0) and +13% in women 25-54 (1.6 to 1.8).
· In the 10:30 lead-in to local news, ranks #2 among ABC, CBS and NBC ahead of "20/20" in adults 25-54 and all key adult-female demos.
· Matches results from the prior two weeks in adults 18-49 (0.9) and adults 25-54 (1.3).
· Will add significant viewership via time-shifting -- the previous week's "Dateline" increased by +28% in 18-49 rating (from a 0.94 to a 1.20) and 881,000 viewers overall (4.4 million to 5.2 million) going from L+SD to L+3.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday Night:
· In adult 18-49 rating in the local people meters, Fallon (1.1) topped the combined results of ABC's rebroadcast of "Jimmy Kimmel Live" (0.6) and CBS's "Late Show with Stephen Colbert" (0.4).
· In 18-49 in the local people meters, Meyers' encore (0.7) beat a rebroadcast Kimmel (0.6) and an original Colbert (0.4), despite his later start time.
· In 18-49, a Carson Daly encore (0.4) doubled a rebroadcast Corden (0.2), despite starting an hour later, tied an original "Nightline" (0.4) despite starting 90 minutes later and tied an original Colbert (0.4) despite starting two hours later.
· Fallon's guests Friday night included Will Smith, Kirsten Dunst and musical guest Calvin Harris.
· Meyers' guests Friday included Governor Sarah Palin, David Tennant, Holly Holm and a performance by the cast of Spring Awakening (encore).
· Daly's guests Friday night included Jeff Daniels, Colin Hanks and musical guest Handsome Ghost (encore).
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 3.0/7; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.1/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.9/5 with an encore.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.1/5; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3 with an encore.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.6/5 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (0.9/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.7/4 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1 with an encore).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
