Friday's Broadcast Ratings: "Shark Tank" Tops Adults 18-49 Race for ABC

Here are the highlights of the 15 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (1/29/16):

ABC (6.058 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.3, #1) was the demo champ on Friday with new episodes of "Last Man Standing" (6.838 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #5), "Dr. Ken" (5.133 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.1, #6), "Shark Tank" (6.779 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.7, #1) and "20/20" (5.410 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T7).

CBS (7.189 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.1, #2) then took home the silver with a new "Undercover Boss" (7.276 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T3) alongside repeats of "Hawaii Five-0" (6.528 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T7) and "Blue Bloods" (7.765 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T7).

Next up was NBC (3.829 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T3) with a new "Undateable" (3.029 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.9, #10), the season finale of "Undateable" (2.468 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T12), the return of "Grimm" (3.794 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.8, #11) and "Dateline NBC" (4.944 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.4, #2).

Meanwhile, FOX (3.477 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T3) offered up the season finale of "MasterChef Junior" (4.726 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T3) and the relocated "Second Chance" (2.228 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T12).

And finally, The CW (1.083 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #5) closed out the evening with its new Friday lineup of "The Vampire Diaries" (1.236 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.5, #14) and "The Originals" (0.930 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.4, #15).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/4 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.4/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (0.9/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1 with an encore).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

ABC (6.841 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.5, #1) was the network to beat among adults 18-49 with its mix of "Last Man Standing" (7.478 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T4), "Cristela" (5.707 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T9), "Shark Tank" (7.904 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.9, #1) and "20/20" (6.028 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.5, #2).

CBS (10.131 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.4, #2) then was a close second with its trio of "Undercover Boss" (8.139 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T4), "Hawaii Five-0" (10.396 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.4, #3) and "Blue Bloods" (11.860 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T4).

Next up was NBC (4.220 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #3) with originals from "Constantine" (3.306 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.8, #11), "Grimm" (4.832 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T7) and "Dateline NBC" (4.524 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T7).

Meanwhile, FOX (2.468 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #4) served up new episodes from "World's Funniest Fails" (3.057 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T9) and "Glee" (1.879 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.7, #12).

And finally, a new "Hart of Dixie" (1.057 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T13), a repeat "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (0.854 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T13) and a new "Masters of Illusion" (0.889 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T13) closed out the evening on The CW (0.964 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5). In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), said trio posted a 0.5, 0.3 and 0.3 rating, respectively.
