"ELLEN'S DESIGN CHALLENGE" SEASON TWO PERFORAMNCE
March 9, 2016 - Ellen's Design Challenge finished its second season run on HGTV with more than 10.7 million viewers tuning in since its Monday, January 18 premiere. Ratings among viewers P25-54 grew nearly 20% over the prior 13 week average, making it a top-rated program on HGTV in that demo.
During the finale on Monday night, Vivian Beer, 37, a furniture designer and business owner from Manchester, N.H., won the furniture design competition. Beer received the surprise of a lifetime when Ellen DeGeneres told her that she would receive a $100,000 cash prize courtesy of Wayfair.com and a feature in HGTV Magazine.
