Investigation Discovery's Hit Series "Disappeared" Returns After Three-Year Hiatus with Series' Best Premiere Ever, Delivering Over 1 Million Viewers

INVESTIGATION DISCOVERY'S HIT SERIES "DISAPPEARED" RETURNS AFTER THREE-YEAR HIATUS WITH SERIES' BEST PREMIERE EVER, DELIVERING OVER 1 MILLION VIEWERS

(Silver Spring, Md.) - After a call to action from viewers pressing for new episodes, Investigation Discovery (ID) revived its missing persons series DISAPPEARED for a seventh season after more than a three-year hiatus. For L+3 viewing, the season 7 premiere on Monday, April 11 was the series' highest delivering premiere ever for P2+ (1.054 million) and HH (886k). It was also the 2nd highest delivering premiere for the series ever among P25-54 (508k).

Produced by NBC News' award-winning production arm Peacock Productions, each episode of DISAPPEARED takes viewers inside the world of a family holding out hope that their missing loved one will be found. Cinematic recreations and poignant interviews with families, friends and law enforcement paint the picture of a missing person's last known whereabouts. Each episode concludes with a call to action asking viewers to share fresh leads or new information to reinvigorate cases for law enforcement.
