Discovery Finishes With Most-Watched 2Q Ever, Highest-Rated June Ever

Discovery Owned More Top 10 Unscripted Cable Series Than Any Other Network, Including the Top 5 in M25-54

(Los Angeles) - Discovery continues to dominate by wrapping the second quarter with the most watched 2Q ever P2+. The network owned more top 10 unscripted cable series than any other network across P/M25-54, P/M18-49, M18-34, and P2+, including the Top 5 in M25-54. Discovery also claimed cable's #1 unscripted series across 5 nights of the week among M25-54 & M18-49. June also was Discovery's highest rated June ever among P25-54.

Among M25-54, Discovery owned 7 of the top 10 unscripted cable series including the top 5 series during 2Q. Leading the pack was STREET OUTLAWS (#1) as part of the network's Motor Monday line-up. Motor Mondays had 3 of the top series among M25-54 (with STREET OUTLAWS: NEW ORLEANS and MISFIT GARAGE). Other series wrapping out the top shows on cable included DEADLIEST CATCH (#2), ALASKAN BUSH PEOPLE (#3), NAKED AND AFRAID (#4), STREET OUTLAWS: NEW ORLEANS (#5), BERING SEA GOLD (#7) and MISFIT GARAGE (#8). The network dominated across cable among M25-54 and M18-49 across 5 nights of the week.

Driven by a strong line-up of both returning and all-new series, Discovery had its second-highest rated 2Q and first half of the year ever among adults and men, as well as its most-watched 2Q ever (Total Viewers) and highest-rated June ever with adults.
