Friday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC Tops Demo Race with "Got Talent" Encore

Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (7/15/16):

NBC (4.000 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.8, #1) claimed the adults 18-49 crown on Friday with an encore of "America's Got Talent" (4.203 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T1) and a new "Dateline NBC" (3.595 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T3).

CBS (4.741 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T2) then was the most-watched broadcaster with its repeat lineup of "NCIS: Los Angeles" (4.534 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.5, #8), "Hawaii Five-0" (4.449 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T5) and "Blue Bloods" (5.240 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T3).

Next up was ABC (3.190 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T2) and its trio of "Secrets of the Force Awakens: A Cinematic Journey" (2.673 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T5), "Primetime: What Would You Do?" (2.652 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T5) and "20/20" (4.248 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T1).

Meanwhile, The CW (1.324 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T4) offered up a new "Masters of Illusion" (1.381 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T9) followed by second runs of "Masters of Illusion" (1.168 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T9) and "Penn & Teller: Fool Us" (1.373 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T9).

And finally, encores of "Rosewood" (1.431 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T9) and "MasterChef" (1.209 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T9) on FOX (1.320 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T4) closed out the night.

ABC (4.328 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T1) however shared the adults 18-49 crown with its mix of "Shark Tank" (4.143 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.7, #5), "Primetime: What Would You Do?" (4.263 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T1) and "20/20" (4.578 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T1).

Next up was CBS (4.441 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.5, #3) and its repeat trio of "Elementary" (3.313 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.4, #9), "Hawaii Five-0" (4.764 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T7) and "Blue Bloods" (5.247 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.6, #6).

Meanwhile, FOX (1.419 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #4) served up second runs of "MasterChef" (1.812 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T7) and "Gotham" (1.027 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T10).

And finally, The CW (0.977 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.2, #5) closed out the evening with a new "Masters of Illusion" (1.331 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T10), a repeat "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" · In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/5; "CBS Summer Showcase," 0.2/1 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with James Corden" (0.9/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.3/2 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1 with an encore).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
