Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: ABC Tops Viewers, Splits Demos with CBS

Here are the highlights of the 15 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (7/31/16):

ABC (5.850 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T1) was the top draw on Sunday with its mix of "America's Funniest Home Videos" (4.274 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T8), "Celebrity Family Feud" (7.197 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.4, #2), "$100,000 Pyramid" (6.484 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T4) and "Match Game" (5.444 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.1, #6).

CBS (5.642 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T1) then shared in the demo honors with its "PGA Overrun" (8.734 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #3) fueled lineup of "60 Minutes" (7.588 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T4), "Big Brother 18" (5.934 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.6, #1), "Madam Secretary" (3.303 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T8) and "BrainDead" (2.753 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T12).

Next up was NBC (2.814 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #3) and second runs of "Dateline NBC" (4.283 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T10), "Hollywood Game Night" (1.878 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T12) and "American Ninja Warrior" (2.548 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.8, #7).

And finally, repeats of "The Simpsons" (1.105 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.4, #15) and "Bob's Burgers" (1.254 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T12) led into the summer mainstay "Teen Choice 2016" (1.837 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T10) on FOX (1.617 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #4).

ABC (3.573 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T1) however shared in the demo honors with a repeat "America's Funniest Home Videos" (3.943 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T6) followed by the season premiere of "Bachelor in Paradise" (3.583 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.1, #2) and a new "Save My Life: Boston Trauma" (3.185 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.8, #5).

Next up was NBC (3.206 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.8, #3) with encores of "America's Got Talent" (3.105 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.6, #9) and "American Ninja Warrior" (3.308 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T3).
