Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: "Sunday Night Football" Keeps NBC on Top

Here are the highlights of the 19 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (10/23/16):

NBC (14.511 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 4.9, #1) was still the network to beat on Sunday with its mix of "Football Night in America #1" (7.110 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 2.2, #6), "Football Night in America #2" (10.606 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 3.5, #4), "Football Night in America #3" (13.809 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 4.5, #3) and "Sunday Night Football" (15.432 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 5.3, #2).

The silver then went to CBS (12.578 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.3, #2) and its lineup of "NFL Overrun" (21.755 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 5.9, #1), "60 Minutes" (16.104 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 3.2, #5), "NCIS: Los Angeles" (11.433 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.7, #7), "Madam Secretary" (8.905 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.1, #12) and "Elementary" (5.987 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T16).

Next up was FOX (3.113 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.3, #3) and its lineup of a "The Simpsons" (4.561 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T8) repeat and originals from "Bob's Burgers" (3.756 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T8), "The Simpsons" (3.412 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T8), "Son of Zorn" (2.344 million viewers, #18; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T13) "Family Guy" (2.529 million viewers, #17; adults 18-49: 1.2, #11) and "The Last Man on Earth" (2.077 million viewers, #19; adults 18-49: 0.9, #15).
