"60 MINUTES" IS THE #1 NON-SPORTS PROGRAM OF THE WEEK FOR THE THIRD STRAIGHT WEEK-- DRAWS AUDIENCE OF 17.3 MILLION

Finishes at #3 in Viewers and Makes the Top 10 List in Key Demos for the Sixth Time this Season and Fourth Time in a Row

60 MINUTES continued its ratings surge Sunday, delivering 17.3 million viewers to rank as the week's #1 non-sports program for the third straight week, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, Nov. 27. It was the program's second largest audience of the season. Overall, the CBS News magazine finished #3 among all programs, the fourth time in six weeks it ranked #3 or higher and the seventh trip to Nielsen's Top 10 in 10 weeks.

The broadcast made Nielsen's Top 10 in key demos again -- the fourth straight week and the sixth time this season -- tying for #6 in adults 25-54 (3.9/10) and ranking #7 in adults 18-49 (2.8/08).

60 MINUTES is averaging 14.5 million viewers this season, an increase of +3 percent from last season.

Sunday's broadcast featured Charlie Rose's interview with Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi and Lesley Stahl's two-part segment on a family with a rare gene mutation that researchers hope can help them find a prevention for Alzheimer's.
