LOS ANGELES, November 30, 2016 - The Simpsons have done it again - propelling FXX into the ranks of the Top 10 basic cable networks. The first four days of the 13-day The Simpsons 600 Marathon, which began on Thanksgiving, drove FXX to rank #8 among all basic cable networks in Adults 18-49 and #5 among Adults 18-34 in Total Day viewing. In Primetime, FXX advanced to #10 among Adults 18-49 and #5 among Adults 18-34 over the Thanksgiving holiday.

Over the first four days of the marathon, FXX's Total Day average ratings increased by +205% in Adults 18-49 (326,000 vs. 107,000) and +265% in Adults 18-34 (208,000 vs. 57,000). FXX's Primetime advanced +110% in Adults 18-49 (414,000 vs. 197,000) and +153% in Adults 18-34 (278,000 vs. 110,000).

"This is a remarkable achievement for FXX, confirming everything we know about the enormous popularity of The Simpsons across generations of fans," said FX Networks President and COO Chuck Saftler. "The first Simpsons marathon was a landmark event and the success of the current marathon is even more impressive when you consider that FXX had already aired 6,525 telecasts and streamed 24.1 million hours of The Simpsons on Simpsons World. We appreciate everything Jim Brooks, Matt Groening and Al Jean have done to make The Simpsons 600 Marathon such a triumph."

The 27-season, 600-episode, 300-hour The Simpsons marathon started on Thursday, November 24 at 12:00 PM ET/PT and concludes on Wednesday, December 7 at 12:00 AM ET/PT on FXX. With that, The Simpsons 600 Marathon will become the longest-running marathon in television history, surpassing the previous record holder, FXX's 552-episode, 12-day Simpsons marathon in 2014, which propelled the nascent FXX to cable's #1-ranked network primetime in Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 for 12 consecutive days.

FXX is the cable network home for all seasons of The Simpsons, excluding seasons airing in their first run on FOX. FX Networks' app, FXNOW, is the exclusive non-linear home for all seasons of The Simpsons, excluding seasons airing in their first run on FOX.

FXX's "Simpsons World" is the ultimate Simpsons digital experience featuring enriched branded content through SimpsonsWorld.com and handheld/connected devices via FXNOW, the authenticated multi-network on-demand video service supporting FX, FXX and FXM.
