EVENT MARKS VH1'S HIGHEST RATED "DIVAS" IN MORE THAN A DECADE

NEW YORK, NY (December 7, 2016) - The network announced today that nearly two million total viewers tuned in to catch Mariah Carey, Patti LaBelle, Teyana Taylor, Chaka Khan, Vanessa Williams, Bebe Rexha, JoJo, Serayah and Remy Ma perform iconic holiday hits at "VH1 DIVAS HOLIDAY: UNSILENT NIGHT." Returning after a four year hiatus, Monday night's event marks VH1's highest rated "Divas" in more than a decade.

DIVAS and LOVE & HIP HOP dominated Monday night making VH1 the most social network on cable. Additionally, DIVAS trended #1 on Twitter.

After a four-year hiatus, VH1 brought DIVAS back to the stage for a night of holiday cheer and powerhouse performances. Taking place in Brooklyn's spectacular Kings Theatre, the special offered a fantastic blend of Christmas favorites, timeless classics, and commanding collaborations. Since its inception in 1998, VH1 DIVAS has assembled the most dynamic and prolific female performers the industry has to offer, celebrating their raw talent and invaluable contributions to pop culture. DIVAS returned just in time for the holidays for a night that was both festive and fabulous in equal measure.
