Here are the highlights of the 19 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (1/1/17):

NBC (18.915 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 5.9, #1) kicked off 2017 on top with the season finales of "Football Night in America #1" (6.089 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.8, #8), "Football Night in America #2" (9.600 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 2.9, #5), "Football Night in America #3" (16.155 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 4.9, #3) and "Sunday Night Football" (21.330 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 6.7, #1).

FOX (7.604 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.4, #2) then was a distant second place with its mix of "NFL Overrun" (18.166 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 5.2, #2), "The OT" (11.085 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 3.5, #4), the launch of "The Mick" (7.283 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 2.4, #6), a special "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (3.806 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 1.4, #10), a second "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (3.076 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 1.2, #11) and a repeat "Family Guy" (2.206 million viewers, #18; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T13).
