Tuesday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC, "Got Talent" Hold Off ABC, "Bachelorette" Special

Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (6/27/17):

NBC (10.649 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.2, #1) held off the competition on Tuesday with new episodes from "America's Got Talent" (12.114 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.4, #1) and "World of Dance" (7.720 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.9, #2).

ABC (3.840 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #2) then was the silver draw with a special "The Bachelorette" (4.767 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.2, #3), the penultimate "Downward Dog" (2.162 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.5, #7) and the de facto finale of "Downward Dog" (1.810 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T8).

Next up was CBS (5.846 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.6, #3) and its repeat trio of "NCIS" (6.208 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T4), "Bull" (5.467 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T4) and "NCIS: New Orleans" (5.863 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T4).

Meanwhile, FOX (1.439 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #4) likewise opted for repeats of "Lethal Weapon" (1.749 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T8), "The Mick" (1.211 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T10) and "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (1.048 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T10).

And finally, a repeat "The Flash" (0.653 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.2, #13) led into the season finale of "iZombie" (0.839 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T10) on The CW (0.746 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.2, #5).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.8/4; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/2 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.0/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.2/4 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.0/3 with an encore. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.4/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2 with an encore.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (6/28/16):

NBC (9.293 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.0, #1) was still the network to beat on Tuesday with its coverage of the "U.S. Olympic Trials: Swimming" (5.783 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.3, #2) followed by a new "America's Got Talent" (11.048 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.4, #1).

CBS (5.957 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T2) then was the number two draw with a repeat "NCIS" (7.638 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T4) alongside the return of "Zoo" (5.453 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T7) and a second "Zoo" (4.782 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T9).

Next up was ABC (3.628 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T2) with second runs of "The Middle" (3.571 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T9) and "Black-ish" (3.078 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T9) plus originals from "Uncle Buck" (3.663 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.1, #3), another "Uncle Buck" (3.484 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T4) and "To Tell the Truth" (3.985 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T4).

Meanwhile, FOX (2.289 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #4) offered up fresh installments of "Hotel Hell" (3.099 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T7) and "Coupled" (1.481 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.5, #12).
