Thursday's Broadcast Ratings: Dramas Pull in Front for ABC

Here are the highlights of the 16 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (1/25/18):

ABC (5.749 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.5, #1) pulled into the top spot on Thursday with new episodes from "Grey's Anatomy" (8.506 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.2, #1), "Scandal" (5.201 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T2) and "How to Get Away with Murder" (3.541 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.0, #10).

FOX (3.631 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #2) then moved up to second with a new "The Four: Battle for Stardom" (3.370 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T6) and a second "The Four: Battle for Stardom" (3.893 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T2).

Next up was NBC (4.105 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #3) and its mix of "Superstore" (4.216 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.2, #5), "The Good Place" (3.612 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T6), a repeat "Will & Grace" (2.563 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T13), the season finale of "Great News" (2.189 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.5, #15) and a new "Chicago Fire" (6.026 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T6).

Meanwhile, CBS (5.101 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.8, #4) opted for the special "MVP: Most Valuable Performer" (4.212 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T11) followed by repeats of "The Big Bang Theory" (6.855 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T2), "Young Sheldon" (6.518 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T6) and "SWAT" (4.405 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T11).

And finally, originals from "Supernatural" (1.949 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T13) and "Arrow" (1.386 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.4, #16) on The CW (1.667 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.5, #5) rounded out the night.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.6/4; "Late Show," 0.4/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/4.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/5 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.2/4 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.0/4 with an encore. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.4/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2 with an encore.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

ABC (7.529 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.1, #1) pulled into the top spot on Thursday with the return of "Grey's Anatomy" (9.523 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.6, #1), "Scandal" (7.668 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.1, #2) and "How to Get Away with Murder" (5.397 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.5, #4).

CBS (6.640 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T2) then was the silver draw with repeats of "The Big Bang Theory" (9.311 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.6, #3) and "Mom" (7.143 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T5) followed by the special "Mary Tyler Moore: Love Is All Around" (6.504 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T7) and the season finale of "Pure Genius" (5.189 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T9).

Next up was FOX (3.082 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T2) with originals from "Hell's Kitchen" (3.977 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T5) and "My Kitchen Rules" (2.188 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T7).

Meanwhile, NBC (3.018 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.6, #4) opted for repeats of "Superstore" (2.803 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T9), another "Superstore" (2.371 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T9), "Chicago Med" (3.976 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T9) and "The Blacklist" (2.490 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T14).
