Thursday's Broadcast Ratings: CBS Tops Viewers, Shares Demo Crown with FOX

Here are the highlights of the 15 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (7/26/18):

CBS (4.651 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T1) was the most-watched network on Thursday with its mix of "The Big Bang Theory" (5.749 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T4), "Young Sheldon" (5.402 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #3), "Big Brother 20" (5.385 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.5, #1) and "SWAT" (2.992 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T8).

FOX (3.109 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T1) then shared in the demo honors with a new "The Four: Battle for Stardom" (2.867 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T4) and a second "The Four: Battle for Stardom" (3.352 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.0, #2).

Next up was ABC (2.871 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T3) and its trio of "The Gong Show" (2.749 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T8), "Match Game" (3.325 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T6) and "Take Two" (2.540 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T12).

Meanwhile, NBC (2.604 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T3) offered up a repeat "Ellen's Game of Games" (3.479 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T6), week two of "Trial & Error" (2.165 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T8), a second "Trial & Error" (1.786 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T12) and a repeat "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (2.356 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T8).

And finally, encores of "Burden of Truth" (1.225 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.3, #14) and "Black Lightning" (0.937 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.2, #15) on The CW (1.081 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.2, #5) rounded out the night.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline," averaged a 0.9/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.0/4 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.1/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/2 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

CBS (4.865 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.1, #1) was still the network to beat on Thursday with its mix of "The Big Bang Theory" (6.301 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #2), "Kevin Can Wait" (4.789 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T5), "Big Brother 19" (6.302 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.9, #1) and "Zoo" (2.749 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T8).

NBC (4.376 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #2) then was the silver draw with the Tuesday-bound "Hollywood Game Night" (3.872 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.9, #4) followed by new episodes of "The Wall" (4.803 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #3) and "The Night Shift" (4.453 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T5).

Next up was FOX (2.411 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #3) and its summer entries "Beat Shazam" (2.796 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T5) and "Love Connection" (2.026 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T8).

Meanwhile, ABC (2.422 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #4) offered up originals from "Boy Band" (2.418 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.5, #12), "Battle of the Network Stars" (2.522 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T8) and "The Gong Show" (2.325 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T8).
