Monday's Broadcast Ratings: ABC, "Bachelorette" Hold Off NBC, "Ninja Warrior" in Demos

Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (7/30/18):

ABC (4.666 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #1) held off the competition on Monday with fresh installments of "The Bachelorette" (5.444 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #1) and "The Proposal" (3.110 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.7, #4).

NBC (5.051 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.0, #2) then was a close second with originals from "American Ninja Warrior" (5.270 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #2) and "Dateline NBC" (4.613 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.8, #3).

Next up was FOX (2.271 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #3) with a new "So You Think You Can Dance" (2.597 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T5) and a repeat "9-1-1" (1.946 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T8).

Meanwhile, CBS (3.284 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.4, #4) offered up repeats of "Mom" (4.252 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T5) and "Life in Pieces" (3.474 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.5, #7) followed by new episodes of "Salvation" (2.614 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T10) and "Elementary" (3.375 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T8).

And finally, new episodes of "Penn & Teller: Fool Us" (1.406 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T10) and "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (1.063 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T10) alongside a repeat "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (0.983 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.2, #13) rounded out the night on The CW (1.214 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.4/3; "Late Show," 0.4/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/2.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.0/4 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.0/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/2 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

NBC (5.011 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T1) however shared in the demo honors with a new "American Ninja Warrior" (5.851 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.4, #2) and week two of "Midnight, Texas" (3.329 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T3).

Next up was FOX (2.226 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.6, #3) with a new "So You Think You Can Dance" (2.639 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.7, #5) followed by the season finale of "Superhuman" (1.814 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T7).

Meanwhile, CBS (3.108 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.5, #4) served up repeats of "Kevin Can Wait" (3.806 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #6), "Superior Donuts" (3.121 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T7), "Mom" (3.223 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T7) and "Life in Pieces" (2.936 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T7) plus the premiere of "CBSN: On Assignment" (2.782 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.4, #11).
