Eighth Installment of Acclaimed Limited Series Outperforms All Other Series, Including Broadcast, In All Key Adult Demos Live+3

7.8 Million Total Viewers To-Date Across All Linear and Non-Linear Platforms For the Premiere Telecast and Two Encores

Cable's Second Most-Watched Program Year-To-Date In Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers

LOS ANGELES, September 19, 2018 - American Horror Story: Apocalypse, the eighth installment of the acclaimed and award-winning limited series from Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, premiered as the most-watched program on television on the night of its premiere in all key adult demographics. On a Live+3 basis, the premiere telecast (Wednesday, September 12, 10 p.m.-11:03 p.m.) ranked #1 in Adults 18-49 (3.5 million), Adults 18-34 (1.8 million) and Adults 25-54 (3.4 million). In Total Viewers, the premiere telecast (5.7 million) was the most-watched basic cable program of the night and #4 overall inclusive of broadcast.

The premiere telecast also represented cable's second most-watched program of 2018-to-date in both Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers (behind only The Walking Dead).

In all, the AHS: Apocalypse premiere telecast and two encores bowed to 7.8 Million Total Viewers to-date in Live+3 across all linear and non-linear platforms - a figure that does not yet include VOD data and will only increase with additional delayed viewing.

After the nuclear apocalypse, the world's chosen elite survive in secure Outposts created by the mysterious Cooperative. On the American West Coast, Ms. Wilhemina Venable (Sarah Paulson) and Ms. Miriam Mead (Kathy Bates) run Outpost Three with an iron fist. The unexpected arrival of Michael Langdon (Cody Fern), a Cooperative representative determined to save society with a secret paradise, throws their order into chaos. However underneath the surface of humanity's salvation lies a battlefield for the final conflict between good and evil.

American Horror Story: Apocalypse returns tonight, Wednesday, September 19 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX with "The Morning After." Written by James Wong; Directed by Jennifer Lynch.
