Monday's Broadcast Ratings: "The Voice" Once Again Tops Charts for NBC

Here are the highlights of the 12 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (10/15/18):

NBC (9.073 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.8, #1) was once again the network to beat on Monday with originals from "The Voice" (9.843 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.9, #1) and "Manifest" (7.532 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T2).

FOX (5.477 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #2) then was the number two draw with its duo of "The Resident" (4.792 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T6) and "9-1-1" (6.162 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T2).

Next up was ABC (7.072 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.0, #3) with fresh installments from "Dancing with the Stars" (7.123 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T6) and "The Good Doctor" (6.970 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T4).

Meanwhile, CBS (5.780 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #4) offered up its lineup of "The Neighborhood" (6.406 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T4), "Happy Together" (4.762 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.9, #8), "Magnum P.I." (5.419 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.8, #9) and "Bull" (6.338 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.7, #10).

And finally, the return of "Arrow" (1.423 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.4, #11) and the special "Constantine: The Legend Continues" (0.611 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.2, #12) rounded out the evening on The CW (1.017 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.4/3 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.4/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/4.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/5 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 0.9/3 in metered-market households with an encore; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.3/5. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.2/2 in 18-49 with an encore; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.1/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (10/16/17):

NBC (8.453 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.9, #1) was still the demo champ on Monday with new episodes from "The Voice" (10.100 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.3, #2) and "The Brave" (5.161 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.0, #8).

ABC (10.142 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.7, #2) then was a competitive second place with originals from "Dancing with the Stars" (9.761 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.5, #4) and "The Good Doctor" (10.904 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.1, #3).

Next up was CBS (6.563 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #3) and its mix of "The Big Bang Theory" (12.617 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.7, #1), "9JKL" (6.824 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.3, #5), "Kevin Can Wait" (6.074 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T6), "Me, Myself & I" (4.331 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T9) and "Scorpion" (4.766 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T9).

Meanwhile, FOX (3.319 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.0, #4) offered up week three of "Lucifer" (3.133 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T9) and "The Gifted" (3.504 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T6).

And finally, new episodes of "Supergirl" (1.752 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.5, #12) and "Valor" (1.042 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.2, #13) on The CW (1.397 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #5) rounded out the night.
