Friday's Broadcast Ratings: CBS, FOX Share Adults 18-49 Crown

Here are the highlights of the 12 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (1/31/20):

FOX (2.423 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T1) remained the demo champ on Friday with its presentation of "WWE SmackDown" (2.423 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T1).

Sharing the top spot was CBS (7.352 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T1) with originals from "Hawaii Five-0" (7.480 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T1), "Magnum P.I." (7.089 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T1) and "Blue Bloods" (7.488 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T4).

The silver then went to ABC (3.299 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.5, #3) with its mix of "American Housewife" (3.186 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T6), "Fresh Off the Boat" (2.226 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T9) and "20/20" (3.596 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T4).

Meanwhile, NBC (2.434 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.4, #4) offered up "Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector" (3.343 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #8), "The Road to F9: Fast & Furious Fan Fest" (1.364 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T9) and "Dateline NBC" (2.595 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T6).

And finally, The CW (0.499 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.1, #5) closed out the night with fresh installments of "Charmed" (0.648 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.2, #11) and "Dynasty" (0.350 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.1, #12).

CBS (7.981 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.8, #2) then was a close second with its trio of "MacGyver" (6.994 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T3), "Hawaii Five-0" (7.816 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T3) and "Blue Bloods" (9.134 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T3).

Next up was ABC (3.757 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #3) and its mix of "Fresh Off the Boat" (3.290 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T7), "Speechless" (2.388 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T9) and a two-hour "20/20" (4.216 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T7).

Meanwhile, NBC (2.942 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #4) offered up fresh installments from "Blindspot" (2.862 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T9), "The Blacklist" (3.647 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T9) and "Dateline NBC" (2.318 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T9).

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.8/5; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.2/6 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.8/5 with an encore.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.4/3; "Late Show," 0.3/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/3 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.0/4 in metered-market households with an encore; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.2/4 with an encore. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.2/2 in 18-49 with an encore; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2 with an encore.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.1/1 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
