Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: ABC Gets Boost from NBA Special

Here are the highlights of the 17 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (8/2/20):

ABC (2.532 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.7, #1) led the demo race on Sunday thanks to a repeat "America's Funniest Home Videos" (3.751 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T2) and the primetime portion of "NBA Special: Milwaukee Bucks vs. Houston Rockets" (2.126 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.7, #1).

CBS (3.724 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.4, #2) took home the silver with its mix of "60 Minutes" (7.071 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T2), "Tough as Nails" (2.301 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T4), "NCIS: Los Angeles" (2.566 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T4) and "NCIS: New Orleans" (2.960 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T4).

Next up was NBC (1.910 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.3, #3) with encores of "Cannonball" (2.127 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T4), "The Titan Games" (1.630 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T4) and "America's Got Talent" (1.941 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T4).

Meanwhile, FOX (0.747 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.2, #4) served up repeats of "Last Man Standing" (0.920 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T13), "Duncanville" (0.465 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.1, #T15), "The Simpsons" (0.872 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T4), "Bless the Harts" (0.564 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T13), "Bob's Burgers" (0.762 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T4) and "Family Guy" (0.896 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T4).
