Friday's Broadcast Ratings: "WWE SmackDown" Wins Demo Race for FOX

Here are the highlights of the 11 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (1/29/21):

FOX (2.228 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.6, #1) was the demo champ once again on Friday with its telecast of "WWE SmackDown" (2.228 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.6, #1).

A close second went to ABC (3.067 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.5, #2) with a repeat "Shark Tank" (3.583 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.5, #2) and a new "20/20" (2.809 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T3).

Next up was NBC (3.300 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.4, #3) with originals from "The Blacklist" (3.337 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T3) and "Dateline NBC" (3.282 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T3).

Meanwhile, CBS (3.871 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.3, #4) offered up second runs of "MacGyver" (3.509 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T7), "Magnum P.I." (3.784 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T7) and "Blue Bloods" (4.319 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T3).

And finally, closing out the night were "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (1.090 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T9), a repeat "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (0.895 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T9) and "Penn & Teller: Fool Us" (0.826 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.1, #11) on The CW (0.910 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.2, #5).
