CBS ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAMMING DOMINATES NEW PRIMETIME SEASON WITH SEVEN OF THE TOP 10 SERIES AND 17 OF THE TOP 25

"NCIS" and "FBI" Are #1 and #2; "60 Minutes" and "The Equalizer" Are #4 and #5; "Young Sheldon" and "Ghosts" Are #6 and #7; "Blue Bloods" Is #9

The Network's Popular Procedural Crime Dramas Heavily Populate the Top 25; CBS Dramas Account for 30.42 Billion Minutes of Time Spent on Broadcast Alone

Streaming of CBS Primetime Programming Is Up +50% Over Last Year on Paramount+; CBS Content Represents 22 of the Top 30 Titles to Date This Season on the Service Based on Total Minutes Viewed

Since the start of the 2022-2023 television season, more viewers watch CBS' entertainment series than any other broadcaster, as 17 of the top 25 most-watched non-sports programs are on the Network. In only six weeks, CBS has reached 89.0 million viewers in primetime thus far this season - all without any regularly scheduled sports during the time period.

According to Nielsen, the most-watched non-sports series is NCIS, with FBI, NBC's "Chicago Fire" and 60 MINUTES not far behind. The two CBS procedurals occasionally switch the top spot, depending on the daily distribution of the "Live + 7 Day" Nielsen numbers. Most impressively, all three of CBS' new series (FIRE COUNTRY, EAST NEW YORK and SO HELP ME TODD) are in the top 25.

All of CBS' comedies also dominate in the rankings, as YOUNG SHELDON, GHOSTS, THE NEIGHBORHOOD and BOB HEARTS ABISHOLA are this year's top comedies and also rank in the top 25 shows.

CBS also continues to dominate in the "time spent" category as audiences have spent a collective 30.42 billion minutes with the Network's primetime dramas and 5.12 billion with CBS comedies. All of this presents an even more remarkable statistic as CBS holds a commanding lead in time spent with a gap of 13 billion minutes between the Network and its closest competitor - all without any regularly scheduled sports in primetime.

CBS programming continues to be a leading driver of engagement on Paramount+. Since the start of the season, streaming of CBS primetime programming on the service has increased +50% over last year. During this window, in total minutes, CBS network, studios and sports content represents 22 of the top 30 titles on Paramount+ including live local TV. Based on total minutes viewed, NCIS is the #1 drama on Paramount+, GHOSTS is the #1 comedy and FIRE COUNTRY is the #1 new show on the platform.

Editor's Note: Original episodes of the Network's series can be seen on CBS and are also available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.
