ABC NEWS' 'NIGHTLINE' RANKS NO. 1 IN ALL TARGET DEMOS - TOTAL VIEWERS, ADULTS 25-54 AND ADULTS 18-49

'Nightline' Outdelivers CBS' 'The Late Late Show with James Corden' and NBC's 'Late Night with Seth Meyers' in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54 For 6th Consecutive Week

Season to Date, 'Nightline' Is Posting Gains in Total Viewers

ABC News' "Nightline" ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (851,000), Adults 25-54 (218,000) and Adults 18-49 (156,000) during the week of June 12, 2023, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. "Nightline" finished No. 1, beating CBS' "The Late Late Show with James Corden" and NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers" in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54 for the 6th straight week.

Season to date, "Nightline" is growing compared to the same point last season in Total Viewers (+3% - 901,000 vs. 878,000). In addition, "Nightline" leads CBS' "The Late Late Show with James Corden" in Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49.

During this week, "Nightline" covered the college cost crisis; Jennifer Lawrence's return to the big screen for her comedy debut; legal and political experts' takes on the Trump federal arraignment; ABC News Studios' "Superstar: Aaliyah" tribute special; Erielle Reshef's interview with Boston rape accuser; the latest episode of "Impact x Nightline," which featured Tyre Nichols' friends and family, as well as Memphis residents who claim they and their family were victims of police brutality; a look at the "20/20" episode "Where Monsters Hide" and more.

NOTE: CBS' "The Late Late Show with James Corden" was retitled to "The Late Late Show-JC-ENC" and NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers" was retitled to "Seth Meyers-SM." The retitled telecasts are excluded from the season averages.
