ABC NEWS' 'NIGHTLINE' RANKS NO. 1 ACROSS THE BOARD FOR SEVENTH WEEK IN A ROW AND POSTS DOUBLE-DIGIT GAINS WEEK TO WEEK IN ADULTS 25-54 AND ADULTS 18-49

Nightline' Grows Year to Year in All Key Demos

For the First Time in 10 Years, 'Nightline' Is No. 1 in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54 Versus CBS and NBC and Is Posting 3-Year Highs in Both Demos

ABC News' "Nightline" ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (860,000), Adults 25-54 (223,000) and Adults 18-49 (151.000) for the week of Nov. 13, 2023, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. "Nightline" took the top spot, beating CBS' "Comics Unleashed" and NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers" for the 7th week in a row.

"Nightline" posted double-digit gains week-to-week in Adults 25-54 (+16% - 223,000 vs. 193,000) and Adults 18-49 (+30% - 151,000 vs. 116,000).

"Nightline" turned in increases in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+4% - 860,000 vs. 827,000) Adults 25-54 (+9% - 223,000 vs. 205,000) and Adults 18-49 (+7% - 151,000 vs. 141,000).

Season to date and for the first time in 10 years, "Nightline" ranks No. 1 in Total Viewers, Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49 versus CBS' "Comics Unleashed" and NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers." In addition, "Nightline" is growing versus the comparable weeks last season in Total Viewers (+10% - 974,000 vs. 887,000) and Adults 25-54 (+7% - 244,000 vs. 228,000), posting its strongest numbers in 3 years - since the 2020-2021 season.

This week, "Nightline" covered the rallying of tens of thousands who gathered in DC to support Israel; an Israeli military-led tour of a raided Gaza hospital; school dropouts who are getting second chances as adults; Kim Petras opening up on her historic success as a change-maker in music; Sean "Diddy" Combs being sued by "Me & You" singer Cassie; comedian Matt Rife on his rise to fame and new Netflix special; "Impact x Nightline"'s latest episode which dives deep into Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino's rise to fame to struggle with addiction and more.

NOTE: On Friday (11/17/23), NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers" was retitled to "Late Night with Seth Meyers-SM" due to being a repeat. The retitled telecast is excluded from the weekly and season averages. NBC's weekly averages are based on four days (Monday-Thursday).
