ABC NEWS' 'NIGHTLINE' RANKS NO. 1 IN TOTAL VIEWERS, ADULTS 25-54 AND ADULTS 18-49 VS. CBS' 'AFTER MIDNIGHT' AND NBC'S 'LATE NIGHT WITH SETH MEYERS'

'Nightline' Posts Increases in All Key Demos, Delivering Strongest Numbers Across the Board in Over 4 Months

ABC News' "Nightline" ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (812,000), Adults 25-54 (173,000) and Adults 18-49 (118,000) for the week of May 26, 2025, based on Live+Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research, leading CBS' "After Midnight" and NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers."

· For the 2nd week in a row, "Nightline" posted increases in Total Viewers (+6% - 812,000 vs. 764,000), Adults 25-54 (+30% - 173,000 vs. 133,000) and Adults 18-49 (+37% - 118,000 vs. 86,000), turning in its strongest numbers across the board in more than 4 months - since w/o 1/13/25.

· "Nightline" improved on the same week last year in Adults 25-54 (+10% - 173,000 vs. 157,000) and Adults 18-49 (+4% - 118,000 vs. 114,000).

· This week, "Nightline" covered the Sean "Diddy" Combs trial and his former personal assistant's testimony; reality stars Todd and Julie Chrisley being freed from prison following a presidential pardon and the news conference after their release; Joanna "Jojo" Levesque being back on tour with "Too Much to Say"; Gloria Estefan discussing her legacy, half-century-long career and new album; how newly uncovered ABC footage helped the family of Capt. Riley L. Pitts, who died fighting in Vietnam, hear his voice for the first time in decades; co-anchor Juju Chang's cameo in "Aladdin" on Broadway, and her travels to Asia with Broadway veteran Don Darryl Rivera, where they immerse themselves in traditional and modern cultures in honor of AANHPI month and more.

NOTE: On Monday (5/26/25), "Nightline" was coded as a special due to Memorial Day. ABC's weekly averages are based on four days (Tuesday-Friday). For the week, CBS' "After Midnight" and NBC's "Seth Meyers" were retitled due to being repeats.
