ABC NEWS' 'NIGHTLINE' RANKS NO. 1 IN ADULTS 18-49, LEADING CBS' 'AFTER MIDNIGHT' AND NBC'S 'LATE NIGHT WITH SETH MEYERS' IN THE DEMO FOR THE 6TH CONSECUTIVE WEEK

'Nightline' Improves Year to Year in All Key Target Demos

ABC News' "Nightline" ranked No. 1 in Adults 18-49 (91,000) during the week of July 14, 2025, based on Live+Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research, leading CBS' "After Midnight" and NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers" in the demo for the 6th week in a row.

· "Nightline" posted week-to-week increases in Adults 25-54 (+12% - 148,000 vs. 132,000) and Adults 18-49 (+7% - 91,000 vs. 85,000), hitting a 4-week high in the key Adult news demo - since w/o 6/16/25.

· "Nightline" improved on the same week last year in Total Viewers (+16% - 685,000 vs. 591,000), Adults 25-54 (+3% - 148,000 vs. 144,000) and Adults 18-49 (+17% - 91,000 vs. 78,000).

· This week, "Nightline" covered the new "Superman" movie; a new book that reveals stunning details of Idaho college murders; music icon Cyndi Lauper looking back on her storied career; Miley Cyrus' new visual album, "Something Beautiful," on Disney+; the 1995 disappearance of a TV anchor, now the focus of the ABC News Studios series "Her Last Broadcast: The Abduction of Jodi Huisentruit"; the alleged "killer dentist" standing trial for killing his wife by poison; Christian Siriano and Law Roach discussing the newest "spicy" season of "Project Runway"; 30 years of the film "Clueless", and how it continues to inspire a new generation of stars and more.

NOTE: CBS' "After Midnight" was retitled to "After Midnight-Enc" for the week, and NBC's "Seth Meyers" was retitled to "Seth Meyers-SM" on Friday (7/18/25) due to being repeats.
